Morgan Kuhn the owner and inspiration of The Downstairs Gallery relied on her innate sense of color, harmony, and balance in tackling and completing her most expansive work to date: the design of the renovation and decoration of her 1882 house in Savannah. Her efforts were recognized by the Historic Preservation Society and the house was featured in the Spring issue of Savannah Magazine in 2008.
After the successful launch of The Downstairs Gallery, located on the garden floor of the house, Morgan has taken on a new artistic endeavor, a series of grand abstracts in oil capturing the visual and sensual essence of natural minerals, one of the earth's most fascinating creations. Inspired by such ancient strength, Morgan once again is breaking the rules and creating a most fascinating result.
